Better late than never..
I wish I had started a blog when we begin our Air Force journey, so let me catch up..
Tony left for basic training at the end of July 2009 and graduated on September 18th, 2009. Doesn't seem like that long, but it felt like eternity at the time. We didn't get much phone time, maybe 15 mins every Sunday, IF we were lucky, and we got to write letters back and forth, which was kind of romantic. While he was training to be a soldier, I was back home training to be a soldiers wife, learning how to deal with no contact from my husband. Of course- he had it harder, but it wasn't easy for me. Now fast forward to October, and he is still in Texas in tech school training for his job. The separation is hard, but we will benefit so much from it. Now we are awaiting orders for our first duty station and I am very anxious to find out where we will be living. I can't wait to start our journey through the Air Force, and I wouldn't want to take the journey with anyone other than my amazing husband, and daughter.
